The mass scanning and widespread exploitation of the privilege escalation vulnerability (CVE-2023-20198) together with the arbitrary command injection vulnerability (CVE-2023-20273) in Cisco IOS XE Software has been continuously and globally observed. Cisco has released security updates to address the issues. System administrators are advised to take immediate action to patch your affected systems to mitigate the elevated risk of cyber attacks.
