Description:

A vulnerability is identified in Microsoft Internet Explorer that could allow arbitrary code execution. A remote attacker could exploit the vulnerability by enticing a targeted user to view a specially crafted web page.


Reports indicate that the vulnerability is being exploited in the wild.

Affected Systems:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

Impact:

A successful attack could lead to remote arbitrary code execution.


Recommendation:

Patches for affected products are available from the Microsoft Update website. Users of affected systems should follow the recommendations provided by the product vendor and take immediate actions to mitigate the risk.
